Today I gleaned some inspiration from the story of Paul in the Bible.
He’s a man with a past. A man who went from persecuting and murdering Christians to a journey of advancing the very thing he rejected.
Acts 9:3-“ As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven.” The Lord spoke to him on that road and from there his life got flipped around! You may be thinking... “my story is nothing like that!”
Well, hang tight...you may start seeing some similarities as we continue. ;-) We all have a past, present and a future. Whatever that may look like for you, it can be used to inspire and encourage those who may have gone down the same road as you. Your story can be a source of navigation and hope for someone else.
Paul’s story is one of rebellion to redemption.
He came from a place of destruction and hurt to being used for a greater cause and purpose.
I’m here to remind you...don’t ever be discouraged or ashamed of who you are or where you’ve come from or think that your life story is insignificant...that is but a ruse!!!
Keep sharing your journey you never know who you might help lift up from a difficult place. Continue to be authentically you. Because that’s what makes a difference in this world.
I encourage you this week to go ahead, remind yourself of your story...how far you’ve come and who you can uplift through it!
