The quickest, easiest way to get a fantastic looking manicure in minutes… is to grab a set of fakes and glue them on…hahaha As of late, time has been a hot commodity in our home…and while I absolutely love to do my own nails…(regular polish, powder dip gels, gel polish) I have had zero time! I started to play with the concept of fake nails over the Holidays as with work I kept breaking my nails and had no time to keep them polished. I’m starting to feel a bit more comfortable with this form of “nail care” and found a very fun set to wear for Valentine’s Day! These are quite easy to apply and come in a wide range of sizes!
While the set comes with its own glue, I used the Static Nail glue I already had on hand. I was curious to see how this nail glue would work with a different brand of nails... So I gave it a whirl!
I started by trimming my nails and cuticles, then I filed and buffed, wiped my nails with their provided alcohol pad and started the process. Starting with my dominant hand— I applied glue to both the fake nail and my nail, let it set for a few seconds and pressed them together. Another tip* start at your pinky and work your way in towards the thumb.
Voila! A perfect mani in minutes!
