To say that we live in a pivotal time in history may be an understatement! Haha…
To be fair, every moment is pivotal. Decisions we make now can and will be felt for generations to come; because life doesn’t start and end with us….life is about legacy.
As I read this quote there couldn’t be truer words.
In moments where we can slowly become numb to needs, turn a blind eye to the “little” discrepancies, easily stand with the crowd. We must be honest with ourselves and question the moments…. “Is this ‘little thing’ now going to have greater effect on life in the future? How and in what affect will these ‘moments’ have?”
Let me just remind you….it’s good to ask questions, it’s good to have discussions, it’s good to look at life from different perspectives!
As we close out this #mondaymotivation post, I’m reminded of this verse:
1 Corinthians 16:13-14
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.
That last part gets me….doing everything in love may seem like a little inconsequential thing, yet, it truly is the “greatest of these.”
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
