"Without memory, there is no culture. Without memory, there would be no civilization, no society, no future." -Elie Wiesel
Memorial Day is a time of remembrance.
Going back to the Bible at the last supper, Jesus took communion with the disciples to represent a memorial and remembrance of him. His time on the earth and there after. It’s a physical act of remembering.
Memorial Day is set apart to honor those who have given their lives sacrificially for the sake of freedom, protection and justice of our country. As we look upon cemeteries or plaques and statues of fallen soldiers, all these things are established to remind us of a time or point in history that is due our attention.
So today family...we urge you to remember those who have gone before us and are still on the front lines fighting for us!
To all the men, women and families who have suffered loss of a loved one in battle there are no words that can truly heal a heart. Deepest condolences just doesn’t cut it. But all we can say is simply Thank You.
With Much gratitude and respect,
Jenneka, Janna & Jared
