With Autumn in full swing (it's actually cold now in New York!) and  Thanksgiving quickly approaching...we put together a little unconventional table setting that is sure to add a bit of drama to your holiday dinner parties. We chose vibrant orchids paired with pumpkins and feathers to create a luxurious festive feel. Add vintage brass, cream colored bone salt and pepper shakers, copper Moscow Mule mugs and it's party time.

Honestly,  we enjoy entertaining and whenever we have an opportunity to host a dinner party or Holiday we jump at the chance.

Of course, all our animals love to... ehh hem..... help. We picked up these lovely candelabras at a yard sale but for this particular setting decided not to use them... don't worry....we will.

Place settings help make diners feel special and for place cards we used manila shipping tags with brown feathers to carry out the feather theme.

Nalo loves to be involved....sometimes a little to much! So once the pups settled down again....we were able to finish setting the table.

Vintage brass trophies filled with feathers... brass candle sticks (all yard sale finds) add visual intrigue.

The glass cloches were from a client but you can find some lovely ones online. https://www.worldmarket.com/product/glass-cloche.do

The salt and pepper shakers were $5 from an Estate Sale in Connecticut.

We filled the water bottles, lit the candles and prepared dinner.

Once prepared we were all ready to eat!

We finished our dinner party with fond memories, full bellies and lots of dishes. But we don't mind the dishes because it 1) reminds us of the fun we had  2)  It equals dishwashing mood music /dance party.

Cheers to entertaining!
